August Opening Retreat:
Kick-Off Your Financial Empowerment Journey during our Opening Retreat with Engaging Activities and Expert Guidance.

Embark on your path to financial empowerment with our comprehensive introduction workshop. Led by experienced professionals, this session includes interactive activities and expert insights to set you up for success.
10-Week Savings Plan:
Practical Strategies and Ongoing Support
From September to November, immerse yourself in our 10-week savings plan designed to instill disciplined saving habits.
Participants will:
- Learn and apply effective saving strategies.

Receive continuous support and guidance throughout the program including a
personal 1:1 with assigned banker. -
Attend at least 3/4 virtual financial literacy sessions (opening retreat included) facilitated by our community bank partner.
Financial health sessions are 45-60 minutes with a Q & A.
Financial Empowerment Virtual Session Topics
- Session 1: Thursday, September 5th at 6:30pm - 7:30pm How to set goals, budget, and save.
- Session 2: Thursday, September 19th at 6:30pm - 7:30pm Understanding ,building, maintaining credit and managaing debt.
- Session 3: Thrusday, October 17th at 6:30pm - 7:30pm Cyber safety and security.
- Please note* Cameras are required for virtual sessions and you can only miss one session. Please refrain from applying to this program if you can't adhere to the Conqueror Community Savings Program training schedule.
November Closing Retreat
Join us for a special dinner and certification ceremony to celebrate your success and achievements.

November 2nd 2024 3pm - 6pm
- Join us for a celebratory retreat to honor your dedication and achievements. Participants who reach at least 75% of their savings goal, schedule a 1:1 session with a banker, and attend 3 out of 4 virtual trainings within the Conqueror Community Savings program will be rewarded with a $100 Visa card, marking a significant milestone in their financial journey.

How It Works
July: Application Process
- Submit application between July 1st - 31st.
- Cohort participants announced by August 5th
August: Introduction Workshop
- Kick-off event led by Management Consultant, Nesha Brown.
- Open savings accounts with our partnering banker.
September-November: 10-Week Savings Program
- Deadline to open savings account September 2nd.
- Save $50 per week with guidance from facilitators.
- Receive ongoing support and banking assistance from assigned banker.
- Attend 3 virtual training sessions September through October.
Early November: Closing Retreat
- Celebrate your success and receive a $100 visa card.
